The running order

Gates open
The Recreation Ground, West Hoathly. Food stalls and bars open.
Grand raffle
Tickets on sale around the ground, with prizes drawn later in the evening.
Judge the Guy
Our judges inspect the Guy entries before the winner takes pride of place on the bonfire.
Bonfire lighting
The fire is lit. Gather round for the centrepiece of the night.
Fireworks display
A professional display choreographed to music.
Last orders
The bars and stalls begin to close. Thank you for coming, and see you next year.

West Hoathly and Sharpthorne Bonfire Night is organised entirely by volunteers and paid for by the community. Entry on the night is free and there are no tickets, so your donation is what makes the bonfire, the fireworks and the insurance possible.
